Advisers
It is important that young people
can make informed choices and fully understand the risks associated
with drug and alcohol use. This is why we work closely with Kent
County Council, Schools Drugs Education Advisers (SDEAS). Together
we aim to keep schools up to date with the latest guidance and
ensure that a high standard of drug, and alcohol education is
maintained in across Kent.
SDEAS can and do play a major part
in addressing the needs of schools through policy development, and
local initiatives. They also play a major part when young people
are identified as ‘at risk’ and require onward support and
referral.
